How to Look After Your Brow lammy

To keep your brows looking fresh and lasting as long as possible, follow these simple tips:

Skip Water for the First 24 Hours:
Avoid getting your brows wet in the first 24 hours after your appointment, this includes steam, swimming, and heavy sweating. After that, you’re good to go.

Daily Nourishment = Better Results:
I recommend using my affordable keratin lash serum daily to keep your brow hairs hydrated, soft, and healthy. It helps your brows look better for longer and supports your natural hair health between appointments.

Space Out Your Lifts with a Sculpt:
Instead of laminating too frequently, alternate every 2nd or 3rd visit with a brow sculpt appointment every 4 weeks. It includes shaping, waxing, tint or dye and keratin treatment to revive your results and give your brows a boost while extending time between full laminations

Styling:
Your brows aren’t locked in place, they have been relaxed which makes them easier to manipulate into your desired shape. Much like getting your part right after washing your hair, brush your brows into place straight after washing your face for the most control. You are welcome to use a brow gel to hold them in place, I have some great ones in salon I recommend.

Be Gentle:
Treat your brows like you would the ends of your hair – avoid heat, harsh products, and over-manipulation. Gently remove any brow products without scrubbing.

  • It’s totally normal for brows to look shiny right after a lamination. This is just from the nourishing serums and aftercare products applied after the treatment. The shine settles down once your skin and brows absorb the treatment and you return to your usual skincare routine.

  • A brow lamination will usually last between 6 – 12 weeks depending on your growth cycle and how well you take care of them. For most people I do try to do no sooner than 8 weeks, and suggest alternating with a brow sculpt to keep them fresher for longer.

An aftercare routine is vital in maintaining brow health and lammy longevity. This includes keeping them makeup free for the first 12 hours and not getting them wet or steamy for the first 24 hours.

  • Not for the first 24 hours. Keep your brows dry and avoid steam, sweat, and swimming during that time. This is to ensure the aftercare products I apply have adequate time to penetrate your brow hairs. After that, you're free to wash your face as normal.

  • While it’s not required, I highly recommend using my keratin aftercare serum daily. It keeps your brow hairs hydrated, healthy, and helps your lammy last longer between appointments.
You can also use a brow growth serum alongside it if you have sparse brows and are trying to grow back gaps etc.

Because more hair = even better results next time!

  • Not always! Right after your lamination, most people just use the keratin treatment to brush their brows into place each morning, it helps keep them soft, healthy, and in shape.

As new growth comes through, you might want to swap to a brow gel, especially if you like a more defined finish or have thick or stubborn hairs. I’ve got a great one in the studio that gives all-day hold without feeling crispy or flaky. And I have extra tips to help with extremely stubborn hairs.
