How to Look After Your Lash Lift

To keep your lash lift looking fresh and lasting as long as possible, follow these simple tips:

Skip Water for the First 24 Hours:
Avoid getting your lashes wet in the first 24 hours after your lift, this includes steam, swimming, and heavy sweating. After that, you’re good to go.

No Waterproof Mascara:
You likely won’t need mascara, but if you do choose to wear it, stick to a regular (non-waterproof) formula and remove it gently. I have a fantastic tubing mascara available with lash nourishing ingredients.

Daily Nourishment = Better Results:
I recommend using my affordable keratin lash serum daily to keep your lashes hydrated, soft, and healthy. It helps your lash lift look better for longer and supports your natural lash health between appointments.

Hands Off:
Avoid pulling, rubbing, or sleeping on your face, all of these can affect the shape and longevity of your lash lift.

Space Out Your Lifts with a Mini Refresh:
Instead of lifting too frequently, book a lash maintenance appointment 3–4 weeks after your lift. It includes a tint and keratin treatment to revive your results and give your lashes a boost while extending time between full lifts.

Be Gentle:
Treat your lashes like you would the ends of your hair – avoid heat, harsh products, and over-manipulation.

  • A lift will usually last between 6 – 12 weeks depending on your lash cycle and how well you take care of them. An aftercare routine is vital in keeping your lashes curled. This includes keeping them makeup free for the first 12 hours and not getting them wet or steamy for the first 24 hours.

  • Not for the first 24 hours. Keep your lashes dry and avoid steam, sweat, and swimming during that time. This is to ensure the aftercare products I apply have adequate time to penetrate your lashes. After that, you're free to wash your face and lashes as normal.

  • While it’s not required, I highly recommend using my keratin aftercare serum daily. It keeps your lashes hydrated, healthy, and helps your lift last longer between appointments.
You can also use a lash growth serum alongside it if you’d like to grow your natural lashes longer because longer lashes = even better results with future lifts!

  • Yes, but you probably won’t need to! If you do, avoid waterproof. I recommend my tubing mascara, it’s packed with lash-loving ingredients, supports lash health, and is super gentle to remove.
You don’t need an oil-free remover, just avoid any harsh rubbing around the eyes when taking it off.

  • This is a specialised treatment designed to refresh your lash lift between full appointments. Usually done around the 3–4 week mark. It includes a lash tint and nourishing treatments to boost lash health and extend the life of your lift.

While the tint itself is the same and will fade over time, the difference is in the added treatments: I apply a regenerative cream and lash filler to hydrate, strengthen, and smooth the lashes. This helps reduce frizz, maintain lift shape, and improve lash thickness and length over time.

It’s ideal if your lift still has shape but needs a boost. Many clients think they need another full lift, but this revives the results, helps you space out lifts (so you're not over-processing your lashes), and saves you money long-term.

Plus, the maintenance appointment is quicker than a full lash lift, so you’ll be in and out faster, perfect for a little mid-cycle refresh.
